As I had told you in a previous post I've spent three days in Amsterdam with my dad and my sister, we really enjoyed it !!

Amsterdam is a wonderful and beautiful city, we brought back tons of pictures !!! 

I've finally ended to sort them, and here is what I’m going to do : in the two other coming posts I will only show you pictures of our travel (with a few explanatory sentences, don’t worry) and then I’ll do a city-guide post so I won’t mix everything and it will be more clear. :-)

After the fluo selection (here) let’s go back to more classical outfits.

Today is about neutral colours and rock with the usual mix of black & studs (we haven’t yet found anything more rock’n’roll ^^)

The unbearable lightness of being

Bonsoir bonsoir !!!

This is my first literary post in english (I did one in french the first month of my blog). But it’s far from being the last one !!!

I love to read since I’m a child, I absolutely devour every book I find … I have a preference for classical books from authors often died a long time ago ! However I also try to find some time to read the books that won literary prizes like the Goncourt or the Renaudot.

My favourite author is Dostoievski, I hope I will be able one day to read his books in russian ! I also love Oscar Wilde, and of course a lot of french author (Zola, Balzac, Maupassant, Victor Hugo, Camus, …).

The book I’ve just finished is "The unbearable lightness of being" , from the Czech author Milan Kundera.

It’s a wonderful book, one of those that make you think about the world around us, how it works, how the human feelings work … I love books that help you to understand better the human being, and thus to know you better by doing an introspection.

It’s the kind of book you can’t read all at one, who need to stop and take time to think about what you’ve just been reading very often ! So it’s a little bit longer to read than an usual book but it worths it I promise !!

PS : I’ve just started to read Dracula, the original book from Bram Stocker. It’s enthralling even if I have some difficulties with the old english vocabulary.

I really love kids shootings, they're often fun and to see kids dressed like adults is very cute ! (as long as it's for a shooting)

Childhood is one of the most important and best part of a life, it should always be protected.

Do you already have a white lace dress ? Like almost every summer it's trendy again, and you can wear it in almost infinity ways ! You can do it simple, romantic, rock, fun, etc ...

I've chosen not-too-expensive dresses : I don't think it is very useful to put a lot of money in a basic like this, it's more about accessorizing it. :-)

So now let's talk about how to accessorize it !

A first idea is to go on fluo.

It's -again- very trendy this summer, and you can re-use some of the stuffs you maybe have bought last year for the "color-block" trend.

I'm going to present you 3 main colours : blue, yellow and orange because they're my favourites.

For each colour I've selected a vest (a cheap one because it's harder to wear than shoes or bags when a trend is over), a belt, two bags : a clutch for evening and a day-bag.

And of course I've done a quite big shoes selection with different kind of shoes : evening, wedges, flats, ... So everyone can find something inspiring !!

As far as I'm concerned I think the best combining would be belt+shoes(+bag/clutch), or vest+shoes.

Some news !

I haven't post for almost 1 month now and I'm really really sorry about that, I have a lot of very important exams, orals, etc ... 

During this month I took 4 days of vacations to take a breathe among all the exams: with my dad and my sister we went to Amsterdam !! I've managed to take a tons of pictures, I will show them to you soon, promised ! 

I'm not going to leave you with only these few sentences, so here are the videos of my three favourites songs from a band call "Shaka Ponk". 

Have you heard about it ? 

It's a French band, but it is known here only since a few months whereas they're almost famous in Germany for years !!

They sing mainly in English, with some Spanish words.

However one of their latest song is also in french, featuring Bertrand Cantat the singer of the former band Noir Desir (do you know it ?).

Stella Mc Cartney nude sandals !!

I was looking for nude sandals for this summer, and when I saw these amazing Stella Mc Cartney ones I couldn't resist !!

I ordered them on net-a-porter website more than a month ago, but I received them only last week because I live in a pedestrian road so DHL couldn't come ... Fortunately they're very professional, so despite my awful studies schedule they have found a way to deliver them !!!!

Vogue Paris April issues - Inspiration

An other inspiration post from the same Vogue Paris (very quick this time), I told you about it here.

This one is called "Sous le soleil", and I find those pictures totally gorgeous, it makes me think of Brigitte Bardot when she was young.
The whole shooting was amazing as always with Vogue, but this two pictures are my favourites :

Google bought this website a few months ago, and decided to shut it down.

This free photo editing website was really great, easy to use and with a lot of fun options. On top of that it was really absolutely totally free !!

So now I'm looking for others website like this one ...

I've already found two :

Bloggif and Aviary, but they seem really more difficult to use than picnik.

I've tried the "collage" function with bloggif and it was ok, quite easy to use but you have to resize your pictures and adjust them by yourself.

My pencil case is a playground

Bonjour !

I wanted to share with you the contents of my pencil case (besides pencils of course), this little big piece of material is with me every day during 8 boring hours. So it's like my survival kit (with my crosswords) ...

A friend of mine say that I could make a child happy with it ...

And I'm very happy indeed. :-)

Let me introduce you to all my little friends, most of them earned eating Kinder eggs :

They're really ugly, aren't they ? :-)

 The paper toys are origamis, the one on the right is a "cocotte qui bat des ailes", but to traduce it is far beyond my weak english !!

And you, do you have some fun/entertaining stuff in your pencil case ?

Or are you lucky enough to do interesting studies ?

If you have any idea of another small game I could play with during classes, let me know I'm always trying to improve my playground. ^
